i’m reading this book about a girl who is an outcast in her village in what feels like medieval england. the superstitions and fear of the populace remind me of Watersmeet by Ellen Jensen Abbott, minus the fairy tale creatures. good story so far. sometimes, i just want to read a really good historical book.
