Let Ravensmere die,
Let the land be torn open,
The end of the world
Is surely betokened.
Clare’s mother wanted Clare anywhere this summer except where she herself had to go, home to Ravensmere. Not knowing anything about her mothers past she goes with her mother to this mysterious town that tries to keep out visitors. When Clare meets the residents of the town they seem to already know her including an extremely hot biker named Mark. Oddly she is compelled to take midnight walks in a Garden that has been walled off until she got there. Ravensmere has many mysteries and soon Clare will realize that she is at the heart of them all.
This is an ultimate love story set in England with mystery, magic, and much more to entice the reader to never put it down. The main twist of the story made me shudder a bit (trust me you will understand if you read it) but the story is a good one if you can get over that one shudder inducing part.

JULY 27th THE WORLD WILL END!
At least that’s what Marina’s mom and Jed’s dad believe. That is why they have been dragged to the top of a mountain with the other Believers. From the mountaintop they will watch as everyone else burns and they (the 144 Believers) alone will be saved. Jed thinks his father has to be kidding. Marina is praying to be a Believer so she can keep her family together, but July 27th is her 14th birthday. And this is how these two teens meet and fall in love over the Apocalypse.
This was a really interesting read of trying to decide what you believe in and how far people can take those beliefs, but it is also a story of love and acceptance. This one will make you thin and question a lot of what you know.

Kate knows there is something special about the new guy in school the moment he walks into the class and as soon as the bully of the school starts to pick on him Kate is proven right Jarrod creates a thunderstorm inside the classroom. But that is only the beginning of his troubles. Jarrod doesn’t believe Kate when she tires to tell him he has magic., but there is something about Kate that draws him to her. But when tragedy strikes his family again he starts to believe in magic. Now to save his family Jarrod and Kate must travel back in time to stop a curse from destroying everything he loves.
This love story is one that makes me smile every time I re-read it. Kate is the ultimate outsider and Jarrod is the cute new guy in town that is a bit clumsy and draws every girls eye. I really liked how they intertwined a time travel story in with the romance to create a story that kept me reading all night to find out what happened next. The medieval part of the tale made it even cooler in my mind. If you like romance, magic, evil sorcerers, curses, knights and ladies then pick this one!

Halfdan is a slave, the son of an Irish Princess & a Viking Lord. Halfdan was raised by the Vikings, but he has only ever known the life of a slave. Until the day his father comes back from a raid on deaths door. His father makes a deal with his mother for her to accompany him on his death ship in exchange for making their son a full Viking Lord. Halfdan’s half brother would be the one to teach him the ways of the Viking. The road he follows is a hard one filled with tertiary and war.
This is a very realistic story that is defiantly for boys. I loved the story and thought it was very true to history in all aspects and was really into the story line. I’m just sad that the series stops where it does. There are 3 books and it stops in a way that makes me wonder if the author did it that way on purpose to get another deal out of it.

Princess Lenora has the ability to make whatever she imagines real like everyone else in the country of Gepeth. The problem is that all the Gepethians wont use their power because of a promise made long ago. Lenora’s parents have been fed up with her and decide to marry her off to the Prince of Andilla (Coren) who has the power to read peoples thoughts. In an attempt to escape the Marriage she discovers that Coren escapes with her into a world she has created where a tyrant rules. Coren and Lenora must find a way to save each other from the chaos that follows wherever they go.
This is the first in a four book series by two fantastic authors. I read the first two ages ago and only recently discovered the final two volumes of this story. If you like magic, mayhem, trouble makers, crazy situations that couldn’t possibly happen and a love story unlike any other you have read then you should pick this story up. I know the covers aren’t much to look at, but you know what they say about judging a book by its cover. The characters are really only limited by their imaginations, that makes for a really funny story.

Stacey Brown is a witch! She practices magic, but not the dark kind. A while back she had prophetic dreams about the little girl she babysat for, but back then she didn’t know that they were really coming true. The dreams have started up again, but they aren’t about the little girl who died all those years ago. They are about her roommate and good friend Drea. But tracking down the stalker that is out to hurt Drea may take Stacey into some situations that could put her own life in danger.
This is book one of a series. I read this in college and it was a really interesting read. Stacey’s dreams become reality, but her dreams are way out there. Plus the fact that she has a thing for Drea’s boyfriend just throws the whole story into a loop. If you are looking for drama mixed with magic you have picked the right book! Each book gets better as the story continues.
