The Sequel to Perfect Chemistry is here! Another great book!
In book one Alex Fuentes gave up his ties to the Latino Blood gang so he could be with Brittany. The rest of his family moved to Mexico to get away from the gangs before the younger Fuentes brothers could get jumped into the gang. In this, the second book, Carlos Fuentes, the middle child, has been sent to live with Alex in Colorado at his college. Alex asks Kiara, a girl at Carlos’ new school, to show Carlos around. Carlos who is not one to be told what to do or follow rules does not go along with this with ease. Kiara is the type of girl who dosent mind getting dirty. She and Carlos are like oil and water. Kiara is the good girl and Carlos is the bad boy. When Carlos is set up by someone and gets arrested Kiara’s parents take him in. Now under the same roof the tension between them gets more intense. As time goes on Kiara gets to see a side of Carlos that most don’t see. Carlos is concerned with who set him up and how he can keep from getting into more trouble while still being himself?
This sequal is, in my opinion, better than the first. The story of love is fun and funny as well. The epiloge is a little over the top in the “everything comes back at you” area. But I really enjoyed it.
