Book three of this fantastic series. Miranda’s journal is back! It’s been almost a month since she last wrote in it. Spring is on it’s way, or what can pass for spring anyway. With the spring comes the fish in the river. Miranda’s brothers go fishing and when they return there are plenty of fish, but also a surprise, Matt, Miranda’s older brother has gotten married to a girl called Syl. The one year anniversary of the moon passes while the boys are out fishing for a second and the last time. Not long after Miranda’s dad shows up with a 5 other mouths to feed (his wife, his baby boy, and three new friends that they have travel all over the US with: Charlie Rutherford, Alex & Julie Morales *Book 2 characters!*) Now that their family has grown to 11 people will they be able to get enough food, where is everyone going to stay in their small house, and will everyone make it out alive in the tragedy that is this world (they) live in?
LOVED IT!!!! And the ending, so didn’t see that one coming! I wish she would make more. The family ties are strong in all of he books. If you like books that have drama then read this series. Book 1 is Life as we knew it Book 2 is The dead and the gone.
