Book – Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

Brittany Ellis and Alex Fuentes look like total opposites from everyone’s point of view at Fairfield High School just outside of Chicago. Brittany is known for being perfect, but hides her family’s secret well. Alex is known for being in a gang called The Blood, but his compassion for his family is strong. But when the two are assigned as partners in Chemistry class, nobody expected what happened next.

This tale of star crossed lovers has been told before, but the author really made the story interesting. When I got to the end though…the story seemed to take on a life of unbelievable possibilities. I just kept questioning things towards then end of the book. But if you want to read a love story this is a good one to pick up.
